The natural world, zoology and the animal kingdom is fascinating and learning more about animals and nature with the kids makes it so much more fun. A particularly interesting tale is the curious case of a giraffe’s horns, which we learned this past summer.
As per Wikipedia, the giraffe, of the genus giraffa, is what is known as an ungulate, a fancy zoo term for an animal with toes. It turns out that there are different types of ungulates.
We are excited to preview the newest collection by Nellystella for Fall / Winter 2018 which will be available at Mini Ruby Contemporary Childrenswear in the coming weeks. This season, Nellystella finds inspiration from Alphonse Mucha's works of art including The Madonna of the Lilies and Princess Hyacinth. Adapting the floral patterns with dark outlines and gilded stars to create their own patterns, Nellystella then expands and interprets his style into fine and intricate embroidery, creating elegant and luxurious styles for girls.
